1. Paro: Begin your journey in Paro, where the Himalayas cradle the valley. Explore ancient dzongs (fortresses) and immerse yourself in Bhutanese traditions.
2. Thimphu: Bhutan’s capital awaits—where crimson-robed monks cross paths with tech-savvy youth. Visit Buddha Point and the Simply Bhutan Museum.
3. Punakha: Drive through high mountain passes to Punakha, where the Punakha Dzong rises like an ivory fortress. Explore this historic valley.
4. Phobjikha Valley: Discover Gangtey, also known as Phobjikha Valley. Here, pristine landscapes and the Gangtey Monastery await.
5. Bumthang: Journey to Bumthang, the spiritual heartland. Explore ancient temples and soak in the tranquility.

Day 1: Arrival, Paro to Thimphu.

Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 2: Thimphu to Punakha.

Distance: 77.0km/2 hr (Thimphu-Punakha)

• Dochula Pass (3100m/10200ft)
• Rafting (addtional charge)
• Chimmi Lhakhang

Overnight in Punakha.

Day 3: Punakha to Bumthang. 

Distance: 197.0km/5 hr 20 min (Punakha-Bumthang)

Elevation: 2800m/9185ft

• Glimpse of Wangdue Phodrang Dzong
• Pele la Pass (3413m/11198ft)
• Chendebji Chorten
• Trongsa Dzong
• Chumey weaving Centre in Bumthang

Overnight in Bumthang.

Day 4: Bumthang Sight-seeing.

Elevation: 2800m/9185ft

• Jakar Dzong

• Kurje Lhakhang
• Wangduecholing Palace
• The Swiss Farm and Brewery

Overnight in Bumthang.

Day 5: Bumthang to Phobjikha Valley.

Distance: 144.0 km/4 hr (Bumthang-Phobjikha)

Elevation: 3000m/98001ft

Attractions: 

• Gangtey Goempa
• Gangtey Nature Trail
• Black Necked Crane Information Center

Overnight at Phobjikha.

Day 6: Return to Paro.

Distance: 172.0 km/4 hr 30 min (Phobjikha-Paro)

Elevation: 2200m/7218ft

Attractions: 

• Ta Dzong (National Museum)
• Explore Paro Local Town

Overnight in Paro.

Day 7: Tiger-Nest hike.

Hiking time: 6-7 km/5-6 hr Elevation: 3120m/10236ft

Hike to the Tiger’s Nest Monastery, Paro Sightseeing.

Attractions:

• Paro Taktsang
• Hot stone Bath (additional charge)

Overnight in Paro.

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast, we drive on to the airport in Paro, to catch your flight to your onward destination as you bid farewell to the beautiful Kingdom of Bhutan.
