  2. Trashigang: Visit Trashigang Dzong, marvel at the scenic views of the valley, and immerse yourself in the local culture.
  3. Trashiyangtse: Known for its traditional craftsmanship, it is home to the Chorten Kora and the National Institute for Zorig Chusum, where you can observe artisans at work.
  4. Mongar: Discover the Mongar Dzong, one of the newest dzongs in Bhutan, yet built in traditional style. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.
  5. Lhuentse: Explore Lhuentse Dzong and the serene Kurtoe region. This area is known for its intricate textiles and weaving traditions.

Day 1: Arrival at Samdrup Jongkhar.

Distance: 103.6km/2 hr 40 mins (Guwahati Airport to Samdrup Jongkhar)
Elevation: 220m/721ft

Land at Guwahati International Airport, in the state of Assam. From there you will be transported towards Samdrup Jongkhar, south-eastern gateway to Bhutan.

Upon your arrival at Samdrup Jongkhar, our representative will meet you at the India-Bhutan border checkpoint in Samdrup Jongkhar, assisting with visa formalities.

After the completion of immigration formalities, you will formally enter into the kingdom of Bhutan.

Day 2: Samdrup Jongkhar to Trashigang.

Day 3: Trashiyangtse Excursion.

Return to Trashigang. Overnight at Trashigang.

Day 4: Trashigang Sight-seeing & drive towards Mongar.

Overnight at Mongar.

Day 5: Lhuentse Days Excursion.

Overnight at Mongar.

Day 6: Mongar to Bumthang.

Day 7: Bumthang Sight-seeing.

Day 8: Bumthang to Phobjikha Valley.

Overnight in Paro.
